The Cisco IP Phone 8800 Key Expansion Module (CP-BEKEM=) extends the capabilities of your Cisco 8851/8861/8865 IP Phones with additional programmable buttons and a color LCD display. The 8800 Key Expansion Module provided a total of 36 programmable buttons (2 pages of 18 buttons) that can be used for directory numbers, speed dial, or feature keys. You can connect up to three 8800 KEMs to the IP Phone 8861 and 8865, and up to two 8800 KEMs to the IP Phone 8851.

  • Programmable Buttons: 18 multicolored LED buttons (2 pages, total of 36 programmable buttons)
  • Monitor Line Status: Illuminated LED buttons make it easy to monitor line status (idle, ringing, busy, or null)
  • Display: 4.3-inch graphical (TFT) color display with backlight, 16-bit color depth, 480 x 272 pixel resolution
  • Expandable: Up to 2 8800 KEM’s can be added to the 8851, and up to 3 8800 KEM’s can be added to the 8861/8865
  • Simplify Dialing: Programmable buttons can be used for directory numbers, speed dial, or feature keys

  • Cisco 8800 IP Phone must be running firmware 10.2(2) or later
  • Requires Cisco Unified Communications Manager Version 8.5(1) and later; and Cisco Unified Survivable Remote Site Telephony (SRST) 8.0 (with Cisco IOS® Software Release 15.1(1)T) and later

Power Requirements

  • 8851 + (1) KEM – 8851 must be powered via 802.3af PoE, 802.3at PoE, or Cisco Power Cube 4
  • 8851 + (2) KEM – 8851 must be powered via Cisco Power Cube 4
  • 8861 + (1) KEM – 8861 must be powered via 802.3at PoE or Cisco Power Cube 4
  • 8861 + (2) KEM – 8861 must be powered via 802.3at PoE or Cisco Power Cube 4
  • 8861 + (3) KEM – 8861 must be powered via 802.3at PoE or Cisco Power Cube 4
  • 8865 + (1) KEM – 8865 must be powered via 802.3at PoE or Cisco Power Cube 4
  • 8865 + (2) KEM – 8865 must be powered via 802.3at PoE or Cisco Power Cube 4
  • 8865 + (3) KEM – 8865 must be powered via 802.3at PoE or Cisco Power Cube 4
